Hot Isostatic Pressing is a material processing method in which components are subjected to the simultaneous application of heat and high pressure in an inert gas medium to improve their mechanical properties. It not only results in higher quality parts and improved properties, but also delivers results at greatly reduced costs compared to other solutions. For aerospace, defense, medical, and other high performance applications Hot Isostatic Pressing is critical to ensure that material is optimized.
